The City of Lancaster seeks sealed bids for a 1996 Chevy Sierra crew cab in excellent condition with less than 4,600 actual miles, closed in utility box with double door rear storage, upper deck storage, 4 storage compartments on each side of utility box, 9000 lb front winch, 4 wheel drive, single rear wheels, off-road skid plates, differential transfer case shield, Vortec 7400 (454 cid.) V-8, dual batteries, 4.10 rear axle ratio, 4 speed automatic transmission w/overdrive, locking rear differential, on/off road tires, air conditioning, front/rear bench seats, and a 34 gallon fuel tank. GVW 9200lbs. This truck comes equipped with emergency lighting and equipment for Emergency Services. This includes light bar (red/white), grill lights, rotating rear beacons, wig wag headlights, rear telescoping scene lights, 6000 watt Honda generator, power shoreline, battery disconnect, 2 grill speakers, brush guard, siren, emergency light control box, and mobile VHF Motorola 16 channel radio. Emergency equipment would not come with truck for accepted bids that are not emergency services affiliates. This truck was DOT inspected in 2007. The City of Lancaster reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

Sealed bids clearly marked "Rescue Truck Bid" are due by April 15, 2008 at 4 pm.
