The City of Lancaster seeks sealed bids for a 1990 Chevy chassis with a UTILIMASTER step van body. This truck has less than 7,100 miles and is in excellent condition, (427 cid) engine, dual batteries, 189" wheel base, manual engine choke, Winco 25kw rotating armature generator, 120/240volt, exterior scene lights, 2 rear telescoping lights, 40,000 btu heater/defroster, automatic transmission, Fire Research generator-master governor, and a battery disconnect. Interior has squad bench seats with seatbelts and flip up storage, cabinets, shelving. Exterior has 4 medium to large passenger side storage compartments and driver's side has 4 medium side storage compartments. This truck comes equipped with emergency lighting and equipment for Emergency Services. This includes top mount front light bar (red), side and rear red flashers, wig wag headlights, and a directional rear light stick. This truck also comes with a light control box, grille speakers, siren, and a mobile VHF Motorola 16 channel radio. Emergency equipment would not come with truck for accepted bids that are not emergency services affiliates. This truck was DOT inspected in 2007. The City of Lancaster reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
