Hillside Cemetery Rules
When placing urns and decorations, please follow the rules posted at each entrance to the Cemetery. These rules are part of Ordinance No. 2001-09.
Any urn, decoration, or flower arrangement placed on the ground will be removed at the discretion of the cemetery personnel and placed on the east side of the cemetery garage. These items will then be discarded on or about October 1.
These rules were put into effect to help ease the problem of mowing and trimming, and to help improve the overall appearance of the cemetery.
  1. All urns MUST be placed in a stand.
  2. Artificial and cut flowers are permitted if CLAMPED to the memorial or ON a one-legged stand.
  3. NO DRIVING or parking on lawn areas will be permitted.
