Minutes of the Meeting of the
City of Lancaster Library/Cultural Center Review Committee
Tuesday, May 1, 2007

The meeting was called to order by Alan Tollefson at 4:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Lancaster City Hall

Members Present: George Steele, Ted Anderson, Charles Lange, Kim Leamy, Kevin Koester, Stuart Harper, Rick Udelhofen

Members Absent: None

Also Present: Alan Tollefson, staff; Scot Simpson, City Administrator; Marge Sherwin, Chamber of Commerce; Kevin Eippperle, Greg Baum, Chris Wand, Durrant; Mayor Wehrle

Leamy moved, second by Anderson, that the minutes of the April 10 meeting be approved as mailed. Carried unanimously.

Steele & Lange moved, second by Anderson that the minutes of the April 25 meeting be approved as mailed with one amendment: George Lawson should be listed as Also Present. Carried unanimously.

Durrant led a discussion of various issues – see their minutes attached.

After a review of a list of project goals compiled from the discussion at the April 25 meeting, Anderson moved, second by Leamy that the goals be adopted as printed with one addition, suggested by George Lawson: “Provide a building plan that implements all of the programmatic requirements of the project’s constituent organizations. Carried unanimously.

The next meeting was set for Wednesday, May 16 at 4:00 in the Council Chambers.

Harper moved, second by Lange that the meeting be adjourned and it was at 6:15 p.m.
